when you normalize you increase a S/N ratio as well
means - more noise, quality degrade

always as a rule number one- try to record audio or sample audio as close to 0dB as possible
normalize is not a cure at all, because you increase s/n ratio


try instead plug digi out into digi in SPDiF

yep.
SPDiF is a digital 16/44.1 in/out (in this case 16/44.1, could be 24/96 as well)

i have the exact sample problem now, did you solve this in the end epiffeny?

didn't so much solve as just worked around it.

if the beat is too low i just amplify it using whatever daw/sofware on my computer (in this case cooledit, i need to upgrade).

i put the master volume to 0dB and it was fine... on JJOS2XL its set at around -18 as default i think
