Sine Bassline

Amazing responses, do any of you guys actually manipulate the pure sine/square wavs and sequence the basslines within the MP?

not me... I do that kind of stuff on the computer because I cant afford hardware synths that have the capability

just turn on the s900 and here's the bassline !

I don't suppose anyone knows of a sample pack or something where i can get the s900 default sine or similar?

yeah, on the mpc 1000 (jjos) i set up an instrument program with a 60hz sine (pre-generated wav file in audacity) and 2 other wave types (square or sawtooth etc) I off-set the pitch of one of the two waves by a fraction. The two waves are much quieter than the sine - for example sine volume set at 80 and each wave volume set at 5

just a small amount, around 00.10 to 01.20
