removing pops and cracks from samples on mpc 1000

how do u remove pops and cracks from the mpc 1000

I think you need to be a but more specific pal

I am sampling from vinyl to my mpc 1000 and I need to know how to get rid of the pops and cracks can you point me in the right direction

Your best bet would be to start with a clean sample. Or just leave it dirty.

Cleaning a dirty sample requires the force and Yoda is mad hard to get in touch with.

There's plenty of software out there that can aid in the cleaning process but it really just boils down to how good you are. How much work are you willing to put into one little sample?

its a sample that i really like and want to use does the mpc 1000 have any methods on getting rid of the pops and cracks. im using logic pro.... is there anything within that program to help plz somebody help me

Look above you man ^^^^^ He jsut gave you software to use to remove the cracks and pops.

To start with a clean sample is the best advice you can get. Use a quality stylus, keep it clean and use good record cleaners and anti static cleaners.

Absolutely. I would also add to this that if after following the above advice rom CoinUp!, and your "clean transfer" still sounds like a bowl of rice krispies, you can go import into Logic (as that's what you have), zoom in the audio window and correct the waveform.

everyone said what u gotta do to get it the best u can above me ^^^ but sometimes u just gotta leave it - theres a few mobb deep albums with bad sample quality/warped and cracklin lol
