Saving Beat

Does the 500 have a bunch of bugs when it comes to saving. After many hours of trying to save my sequences and songs I keep losing my creations. I am trying to save ALL sq&songs. My longs never show up

Furthermore, it seems that when I am saving, the file heirarchy on the CF is not appropriately followed. I am trying to place things in certain files or folders and they end up in the wrong place.

I am going bonkers. I figure part of the confusion is me but I think the 500 is buggy also.

Use Save Entire Memory, create a new folder... and save it out?

When loading, are you using load project/load folder or just loading the song/sequence?

I imagine that you're doing it wrong, but hard to tell from your post.

Yep.... I think that I am probably making mistakes and not quite understanding the heirarchy. I am beginning to wrap my brain around it.

It seems safest to save the entire memory to a new folder. However, in the interest of space I was thinking that I could simply save new sequences and songs to a previous project.

I would be curious about the load and save workflows you guys have adopted.

Save to a new folder always, it will save yourself untold future headaches. If you need more space on your CF card either buy a new one, or backup the contents to your PC to free up some space.

Otherwise you'll run the risk of getting into bad habits and losing samples, beats and such.
