Your top distortion VST pluggins

Hey,
I have hundreds and hundreds of VST effects pluggins, but I noticed I don't have many distortion ones... I only have a few and I cant say I am impressed by them. Here is what I have that I can think of:

-scream 4 in reason 4: probably my favourite one out of the ones I have... but it is in reason and it isn't a vst.
-fl studio fast distortion: I just dont like it.. it sounds like buzzing newspaper.... thin sounding but it can be used on some things... but not at all for the current thing I am trying to distort
-blood overdrive: basically it is a form of distortion... not doing what I need it to for this particular thing

and I cant think of much else off the top of my head that I have.

What are you guys using, and what do you like about it... I have some drum chops I got from an old album and I thought about a slight bit of distortion of some sort to make it sound less... I dont know... clean? for some reason it just didn't work out overdriving the sound on this sample. Also I should have more Distortion pluggins because as you can see, I dont think I have many.

Guitar Rig takes some serious beating. I know it does a lot more than just distortion but it's my trusty go-to plugin if a sound needs dirtying up.

ah yes, I have guitar rig also... I forgot about that one. I like it, it has some neat cab emulation in it... Because I have just been taking the new (new to me) fl studio 9 out for a test spin... and have been trying out the new features... it is cool. It also comes with a new fx pluggin that is based on a guitar pedal board where you can add several different style pedals into it. It is neat...

One thing I remember liking about the scream 4 in reason was the cassette tape style of distortion it has in one of the presets. I remember running a few drum bits through that and liking the effect.

But for guitar rig, I went through a phase where I was running synths through it like the NI prophet and DX7 clone... lol, it makes it sound like an electrical guitar almost.... I never really made any finished thing with that but it was fun experimenting.

I've done tracks where I've processed virtually every sound through Guitar Rig. I also used to use Scream in Reason, but the rewire has stopped working with Cubase so I've not used it for a while.

hey you got any links to that because I wouldn't mind hearing it... right now I am working on a hip hop vibe / glitch vibe track... it is pretty neat actually... I think I am going to try out guitar rig on the drums to see if I get anything I like... I probably will in the end.. I can see myself already having to resample the patterns because for some reason guitar rig can be picky at times when I am running multitudes of other pluggins. It isn't often but once I had about 20-30 pluggins loaded and running and I loaded a guitar rig onto a channel while the sequencer was running... it did not like that at all and it crashed. I have done the same thing several other times with no issue though but you know computers... lol

It can be temperamental, especially on an old pc like mine.

The only place I have my tracks is on myspace. Anything on there with distortion has more than likely gone through Guitar Rig. I used it quite a lot on Poise... especially the drum break half way through.
