having problems syncing mpc2500 with micro korg

i got a midi cable goin from my korg out to mpc in and i have a midi cable going from mpc in going into my korg out i have my channel on korg set to 12 and same on mpc i have the slave 1 and master A i have my korg local off and i have no program selected and it is midi type and midi 1A but no sounds and if i switch to a program all i can do is play my mpc sounds on the korg but i want to do the opposite..if you can help please do so i am in need..i have been trying to figure this out for days ..thanks

Do you have soft thru enabled? not sure if it's available on the Micro Korg anyways... but probably should be there.
