Auto cue of Akai samples on Mac?

Any advice on Mac-applications suitable to auto-cue Akai samples nondestructively? Preferably one with batch-abilities....

I want to adjust the startpoint on a lot of drum samples.
So I need an application which can find the startpoint automatically, adjust it (so Akai MPC1000 can read it) but NOT discard any audio. I want to habe the option to adjust the cuepoint at times, that's why I want it to be nondestructive.

BUMP: I realize now this kind of software is very rare, if it even exists.

So maybe anyone has any advice on software that will auto-trim samples the ordinary way (by editing out the silence at the beginning) in a batch kind of fashion. So I can auto-trim many samples in one go.

Yes, that looks like a good app.

I found "Sound Grinder Pro 1.1.10" which also do batch processing. Had some difficulties with many files though so it's not very compatible it seems.

Also found "Silence Remover" which is for PC but works fine in Cross Over. I'll settle for this freeware to begin with. It does a pretty good job trimming destructively.

I am checking this software out right now. How extensively have you used it? Any quirks?

It has crashed on me a couple times (I think it was related to the plugins I was using with it). Haven't used it a lot, but it comes in very handy (and works perfectly) for bulk converting samples for my MPC1k

May I ask what kind of conversions you do?

24 bit to 16 bit, aif to wav. basic stuff mostly. Sometimes I will batch process a set of samples with a plugin (like PSP vintage Warmer for example). I bought it basically as a way to get all these new samples being released (which mostly come in 24 bit nowadays) into my MPC.

I use Sound Grinder... though I have had problems with it doing weird things with .mp3 files from time to time. Occassionally it likes to add a loud pop at the start of a track which blows out the normalization setting.

Seeing this thread makes me think it may be time to see upgrade the software and see if things have improved any.
