My 5000 was idle when out of no where, the screen goes completely blue. The unit appears to be okay as far as functionality goes but the screen is solid blue. It is not the contrast adjustment. I powered down, back up. I reset by holding erase and booting. Nothing.

Has anyone experienced this or know of a possible fix?

I'm going to take it in for repair unless someone knows of a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember when i was taking my MPC5000 outside for picture taking. It was COld and it was winter. Brought it back home and was ready to do some beats.. All of a sudden the Screen was all blue. I was thinking it was maybe because of the cold, but no it wasnt. i was thinking ow **** why the hell did i take i outside... some few min i found out that it was only the "display contrast" that was regulated to teh far left or something.

Before u do anything else try regulating on the display contrast ;)
