For example I recorded on 1 track SNARE and KICK, make button to split this track into 2 TRACKS (1tr- SNARES & 2tr - KICKS)

Yeah,, OS2XL already has this feature. On Main screen highlight where it says the pad number and press Window.

FEATURE REQUESTS

trim mode
F5 chop / or + F3 (slice)
I would like to:
delete copy paste function in this screen to slices (easily editing rhythms)
I suggest, to enable these dual functions by pressing shift

Start Live Song Record, hit play and then switch through your sequences and make mutes 'on the fly'. I usually do this all through the 'TRACK MUTE' screen when recording into my DAW, but it'd be nice to have it all recorded into a Song on the mpc.

* Extract a single chop from a non-destructive chopped sample

* Metronome ON/OFF switch

* In TRIM make it so that hitting PAD6 to audition your sample doesn't move the cursor from END:xxxxxxxx to START:xxxxxxxx. I find this so annoying! Now that PAD7 plays the sample in reverse you have to use PAD8 instead which is even worse.

*agree with everything above

add:

*chop to pad option in trim mode. so say you are on chop 3 you could hit edit and extract it to pad(destructively) or assign sample and chop to pad automatically(nondestructively).

*a quicker copy pad, like a short cut to get to screen with one less window.

*also option in copy pad window to auto increment chop number.

Hit a pad to slice marker point.
The pad hit also assigns that CHOP to that PAD number!
This can be used in non-destructive and destructive mode.

This is a feature I have been wanting Akai and JJ to implement in an OS update. The Fantom G and I believe the MV has something very similar. And pretty much all software DAWs has this feature. But as you suggested above, I would like to see this function in both destructive and non-destructive chopping modes.

However, I would probably like use of the F keys to add slice markers.

That would be absolutely dope.

this would be the ultimate feature upgrade/addition

edit sample start and end point in trim mode with qlink 3(q3) and qlink4(q4) not just qlink 1 and qlink 2 because you can get more acurate with knobs than with the sliders.

ability to adjust sample start and end points in program mode with qlink knobs (q3 and q4) and the changes are reflected in trim mode (so you are actually changing start and end points, not like qlink where its just midi changes).

Great idea, always having a visual display of the TC setting. The sloppy part of the implementation is that "click" would no longer be labelled. There doesn't seem to be room for more characters there.

True, not really sure you need it to say click though, seems like something poeple could figure out........ the reason i really like this idea is cuase when working, ill forget i have quantize setting on until after i record a pass and say "wtf, it sounds out of wack.....oops, i left quantize on".

Being able to record an audio track and not have to stop playback to have it stop recording.

Kills me that I can't just capture a loop without stopping playback.

Wtf, really? Mine just stops at the end of recording an audio track. No matter if it's set to loop the sequence or not. (Not that I care)

Yeah, Mine always stops recording.

Kinda sucks that you can't change the track type while in playback too, but if it would keep playing and just stop recording I would be in heaven. Maybe there is a setting I am missing.

Anyone?
