question for the mac users, does your mac recognize mpc in usb mode quickly? it always seems to take forever on my pc and it bugs the hell out of me, im wondering if its like that for everyone or just my shitty laptop.

think its because its USB1 rather than the quicker USB2 on the mpc

the same here - works very quick on the PC but on mac it takes about a minute until the drive shows up...

I also find it sometimes takes some time to eject... don't forget to be patient so that you don't risk blowing up your drive...

pc user here and it also takes forever to recognize the hdd. so i only use it for mass file transfers. if i want to quickly move a sample to the mpc i just sample it! much, much faster.
