ok, there is a very easy way to do this in GRID EDIT... BUT... there is currently a 'bug' which is preventing it from working.
in GRID EDIT, you can move to and from each recorded pad event by using the STEP button. so you can put your cursor over the pad row you want to edit, use the STEP button to move from event to event until you get to the one you want to change, press f4 (delete), and then hit OVERDUB and hit the new pad you want to be recorded in it's place. easy.
the problem is that when you press DELETE, the cursor moves forward 2 ticks. and it is not always possible to move the cursor back to where the original event was because the cursor moves in 4 tick increments when under manual control.
so i am going to hit JJ with a request: that when DELETE is pressed, the cursor should remain stationary. that would make it very easy to delete events and record a new event in the exact same place as the old one.
