Operation went perfect...

New LCD
New FUNCTION & PLAY, REC SET
New 32mb MEMORY......

thanks to all y'all in this forum for letting me read about stuff y'all have done.. Because if it wasn't for all the post I read I would've paid over a $100 in labor.... peace

You did all this yourself?!?! You're a braver man than I am then.... I fitted the 8-outs board but I hope I don't have to open up my MPC again!

damn i paid FORAT to fix a short in the volume of the mpc ,replace some buttons,replace the scsi fuse, all for $200 , i got ripped off cuz the short wasnt in the volume it was in the earphone Jack!!!!! I thought they would have checked to see what the problem was.BURNT!



I also need to install a new LCD, I dont want to go back to FORAT,what should I do?

yo... it was so easy...........

labor charges are rape...

the "buttons click in and out".. and the LCD replacement took a total of 4-6 minutes..( it would've took less but those screws are so damn small)

the only thing I will say is this:

If you plan to do something yourself MPC-wise (keep a towel handy cause it'll make you nervous)...lol

They sell the LCD's on ebay too, I think they bring instructions?
