Playing live with Mpc 1000

I would be grateful for some advice on playing live with mpc 1000. This board has been of a great help to me so far. Without the advice from people on this board, I wouldn’t been able to do this. Thanx for the help and words of wisdom. This board is a great help and outlet for someone like me. Keep up the great work guys.
. Basically I have created 26 songs using mpc and audacity. I would be helpful for some advice. I’m going to try and play these songs live on my mpc. I have looked on the internet for advice. I cannot get the exact advice.
Any advice on the kind of speakers that would be the best to play life songs using an mpc. I just want decent., not too expensive speakers ,for my budget on this project is running thin. So something basic, that works well.
What about monitors, do I need monitors? can I just play with speakers. The place I will be playing alive will be small. What would be the name of a reasonable priced monitor to play mpc. Any other tips for playing life with say a microphone, vcables usb. or any other tips on playing live with the a mpc eg I will be playing the music live from the mpc, while I singing/rapping over the music using a microphone.

Can i just hook speakers up to mpc, do i have to get any other piece equipment to connect the mpc with the speakers.

Advice...

1) All of these questions have been answered in the forums... please take a look.
2) Whatever you are planning on doing, make sure you practice a lot before playing live.
3) You want to play songs live, cool... but we don't know how they are setup on your MPC, so it is hard to give you any advice on how to play your songs live. Perhaps elaborate further?
4) Speakers... doesn't the venue have a sound system? I'd check that first, otherwise, a pair of 15" mackies, a subwoofer and crossovers maybe? But that's shelling out a lot of dough.
5) Yeah, you could play with monitors. Monitors and speakers are pretty much the same thing, except Monitors are for sound reference (typically when mixing) and probably aren't going to be great for a venue unless you plan on playing to a crowd of 5-10 people.
6) You can plug speakers/monitors directly into the MPC, but if you are playing out to a live show it is usually a good idea to have a compressor/limitor in between your speakers and your sound source to avoid blasting people out and feedback loops
7) If you want to use a mic, invest in a pre-amp. Also see #6 to avoid feedback loops.

you'll need a cable with the right kind of plugs, which depends on the monitors. look at the back of them, see what connectors you need, and get that kind of cable.
