Yeah I wish I knew how he did it. I'm having trouble getting boom-bap drums that stickout in a mix...usually its just my sample that drowns everything else out.

bump once again.. i had to comment on this

black is the man! im actually bumpin his tracks on phat kat's "carte blanche".. some of my fav of his production! and tronic was ill.. one of the illest intros was on there.. i met black milk in fat beats back in april

Very true points on Black using the same drums, but y'all can't front...He's probably the most consistent producer out here that hasn't compromised his sound. And compared to his early production, his drums are hitting a lot harder. Nothing wrong with having a particular sound that you want to stick with though.
