Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi this is the problem:
after 3 hours i managed to run midi on akai and fl studio, just activate the pads on the drum part of the track.
but the notes are mixed!
how can i reorder them?

shift + 6 to open program menu. there you can assign your samples to pads. I hope that helps. peace

no this isn't the problem..

my problem is that when i connect via midi the mpc to the pc, i discovered that the notes (for example in the piano roll of fl, but also in ableton) don't follow the normal line in the pads!
the Do are in the pad bank b, the other notes in the pad bank c...........

and i don't know of reorder them... :(

You can also assign the MIDI note numbers there.

The range is limited from 35 to 98, which equals B0 to D6.

The pad/ note numbers are 'mixed up' because they are set up to play GM drums by default.

What you want to do is assign the pads CHROMATICALLY so that they match your piano roll.
