new 2500 user os questions

hey yall finally stepped into the new realm an copped me a 2500 was previously using a 2000xl. a couple of questions with the free jjos do i just download the one thats in that link for the 1000jjos ? also ive grown to find the standard os easy as hell to use is the jjos os much differnt in its layout or is it simple to use as well ? i cant afford to pay the us $113 at the mo for the top dog os due to me being a poor new zealander also how do i turn off its autoload feature with all the average samples it loads up at startup ? mines second hand so ive got no manual

Yes, you can save with the free. Otherwise, it wouldn't be free. And it's just like the akai os, just improved. You probably won't even need a manual, except to know what extra features it has over akai os.

cool thanks for the info slammed it an damn it a nice os definatley want to get the higher up os now but will i really need it? i only use kind of the most basic functions of the mp like just doin drum patterns add samples etc then arange sequences i usually chop my samples on my computer then import them into the mp an tweak em a lil im still learning all these dope production techniques lol
