focusrite voicemaster pro, and a rode ntk tube are good, for your sounds I would get a proteus 2000 because the sounds are good and the price is low ( I got mine for $220).
IF YOU GET THE PROTEUS MAKE SURE YOU HURRY UP TO GET THE EXPANSION ROMS, i PACKED MINE WITH 4 NEW ROMS EACH WITH 32 MEGS OF SOUNDS AND i GOT NEARLY ALL i NEED TO WORK WITH... THE SOUND IS PHAT TOO ON THOSE EMU'S... CHECK THE FILTERS...
