I haven't looked, but if it's on the site- this would be a good place to start...

also- this is a thread with a shit ton of photos of the disassembly of a 60 :D

Thanks, one more simple question. if I can find a screen replacemnt that is for the MK2 (i know its smaller) will it still work in my 60 MK1. I know I'd have to do some custom work, but wondering in the connections are the same? Thanks

Sweet, thanks I appreciate it. I just picked up that kit & a S2800 on Ebay for $80. So I think I should be ready to go. Anyone know how much soldering is required? Doesnt seem like much documentation online. Its prob self explanatory once I open it up though.

There are two different types of ribbon cables that attach the LCD to the mainboard of the MPC making the connectors slightly different. The ribbon cable in my MPC 3000 is different that ones I've seen in the MPC 60. I'm not sure about the S2800.

You may need to unsolder and swap the connectors on the LCDs if they are different.

Gotcha thanks. I wonder if the S series are random in which connector they have, or if there was a time period they switched it. Guess Ill find out. Fingers crossed its the right connector. It would be nice to just plug and play.
