While working on my mpc, I thought it will be dope without the side panels, if the metallic faceplate sides were straight like the 2k and 2kxl.
I would have "cemented" those sides to have them just with 2 holes for the screws if mine was not polished. Anyone has ever done this on his custom MPC ?

 Yeah...the shortened side panels is a bit of an odd choice...no telling why they did it like that

i think everyone's reluctant since they seem to block some access to the CD drive...

135$ -> they would have been in leather for that price, not in wood

The piece across the front looked a bit flimsy on the fitting video.

no blockage of the cd drive if you are worried about how it ejects. the kit is solid. i'll try my best at a review once i get them stained and installed again. i tried both a slot and a tray cd drive without any issue.

if you can, please post a pic taken low from the front [where we can see the cd-rom and flash drive]... i don't know what mpcstuff is thinking sometimes with the lack of decent pics on their site... some pics taken from multiple angles on certain items could really double their sales...

I emailed them 3 weeks back about this but haven't had a response.
