I made this slap'n beat, saved it to my CF Card. And when i load it, it loads with: tempo, tracks, bars & volume adjustments, but no sound. Can't figure out what went, or what i did, wrong. Any and all advice, experiences, or troubleshooting would be helpful.

Just the sequence. Was i supposed to save the sounds also?
I'm making a track right now, using loaded sounds from the same CF card, and samples from some EDDY ARNOLD record. Im really feelin' this track.
Im in Save screen, saving to MEMORY CARD. Type:????
this is where i was uncertain.

If the beat wasnt too complex and you can remember which samples were on which pads you should be able to rebuild your project. That is assuming you have the sounds saved separately. Like wudsiba said just save entire memory each time you can't go wrong

I saved just the sequence. I don't remember saving any sounds.....
As for my latest, I just tracked it out to Pro Tools LE 8.0.3. Thanks though, I'm going to do that on my next production.

save into a folder as the whole contents of memory

and load as a project file

last night i played a show live and in the middle of the set while loading i accidentally loaded the folder instead of project file

big mistake!!

it caused about 4 minuets of awkward silence because of it exceeding memory and then i tried again with clearmemory and it didnt load half of the samples. i couldnt play the synth part because i thought i was having a meltdown.
its important to also load with "replace same files in memory" because this way if something is named the same thing... you get the versino that goes with the song, not the previous version in the memory.

Sounds like he actually just hit load folder on accident... Does happen to us all from time to time.

Does sound like you have too much in one folder though.
