MPC 1000 Jog Wheel Post Encoder...help identify

ok here goes as presume a few ...more than a few people have this problem cant seem toi find one selling on the net at all but ive noticed from an old post that someone found the chip here...http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/700701/

i know they say it isnt the exact one in the pic on mpc stuff but im wondering if anyone has got one and knows what it looks like and if they got one from mpc stuff and how different it is to the one shown in the picture ...

long shot im wondering if i could just install a whole encoder and jogwheel from any other ie 2500


pulling my hair out with this one mpc is going crazy
