moving in step edit

I was just wondering if theirs an easier way to move notes around in step edit for the 2000xl. Instead of deleting the note(or drum), and adjusting it a few ticks at the top. And then punching in the pad wherever that may be. Props to anyone that can help.

not that it will speed you up by that much but I use the go to button and put the time correction on and skip through step edit like that
