Mbox 2 Mini Vs Mbox 2

Hey hows it going guys,
basically I wanna get my Pro tools set up going, my gear right now is super simple, MPC 1000, Xio Synth, Turntable, Condenser Mic.
Im stuck between getting a Mbox mini which is cheap as fuuuuuuuck, or going for the slightly more expensive regular mbox. Just curious to what one I'd be more happy with, I.E. easiest to track out with. Wondering if the spidf and MIDI on the regular mbox is worth an extra 150$.
If anyone has any words of wisdom, or has used either before with the MPC, a reply would be appreciated alot.

Realized this subject has kinda been beaten around the bush, sorry guys.
One thing I am curious though, can I get a Mbox 2 mini, and MIDI sync the MPC using a MIDI 2 USB interface.

If you want to be certain get an interface with built-in midi ports, the USB to midi cables can cause problems.
