What Option allows the Data Wheel to play Sound in Grid Edit

Hi Guys!

Long Time Guest Reader - First Time Poster here!

I have been reading the articles on this Forum for quite some time now and learned so much new Stuff so I already want to thank you all for that.

Now, I usually figure stuff out by myself or do some research on the Net but there is this one thing I cannot seem to (re)enable on my MPC 1000.

I'm running JJOS1 4.99L on my MPC1000 and usually, when I was using Grid Edit (Mode+ Pad15) I was able to use the Data Wheel to move the Timebar through my recorded Sequence and find misplaced Notes because every time the Timebar hit a note the according sound was played.

However, today i decided to reset the MPC and as a Result the Data Wheel is no longer triggering the sound when I use it to move the Timebar through the Sequence.

What Option causes this?

Any Help would be much appreciated!

I'm not using that function but check and try this :

When cursor is within the event field, if the [WINDOW] key is pressed, a "GRID Options" window will open.



Step sound: If you select ON, the event of the cursor position is sounded during cursor move.
Auto step increment: If you select YES, After hitting a pad and recording an event, cursor move to the right automatically.

I actually even checked out the JJ online manual but I must have missed that specific part or even entered the wrong search term.
