mpc1000 sync with pro tools 8 le

wats up yall?..i just bought the protools8 and i wanted to sync my mpc with protools so i can track out my sequence on pt.8 but i dont know how to do it i saw a video on youtube but dude was using a 002 interface not a mbox2 which is wat i have.can any1 help me out how to set it up?..1

Midi out from the mbox to midi in on the mpc son. Then you have to go into pt and make sure it's sending midi clock/tc to the port connected to the mpc. And then do the same for the mpc, make sure it's set to recieve either one of the said reference sync options.

So you want the mpc to be the master? Cool, glad you figured it out.

to b honest fam i wanted the other way around lol..i was thinking more mpc(slave) and p.t le 8(master)..im assuming is the same set up just backward right?..i dunno y but for some reason i dont get any sounds i see the signal tho how do i fix that ?
