MPC of the Future?

I do believe that this is the future of music. Production is really going to move even MORE towards the software leg. In the link posted, Grammy Award Winning Producer RockWilder is making bomb tracks that have the same quality and functuality as those created with hardware. My question is…will software totally eradicate hardware within the next 10 years??

The future of Music will be that the Diehard heads will always be around. After this "Pop meets Auto-tune" watered down HipHop garbage fades, Hard work, dedication and grinding will still be the way to make Great Music. Fads are temporary - HipHop is forever. The guys who are grinding out great music now will pass that skill on to their disciples. Those artist who try to "Fruity Loop" their way around putting their time in and working hard at this will fade away.

How about acoustic instruments...you know, the one's that get sampled all the time.

I don't see them going anywhere, especially after they've been around for quite some time.

Akai should put out a program like the beatthang but make it look like an mpc onscreen with virtual versions of every mpc where you can set it to have the same limits of each machine or set it to have as much ram as your comp can give it.

If they had "classic" modes for each mpc version that worked onscreen identical to the hardware mpc the learning curve would be 0 for mpc users.

kinda a cross between Motu B.P.M. and beatthang with the mpc look graphics like reason (cartoon look)

with a 150 price tag I bet almost every mpc user would purchase it atleast as a backup to their hardware mpc or an on the road alternative.

Software will always miss that certain mojo element imo.Hardware(vintage)is about as far away from the real instruments as im prepared to get as far as 1 on 1 programing is concerned.But im an oldie.Anyway,there is no future only "right hear,right now"

I just had a look over the MPC in the link mentioned, I really need to agree that this is gonna be the best in the future and nothing can beat this
