Mpc screen not working

I powered up my mpc 4000 and the screen has lines in it, but you can't read anything the HD works and the screen lights up just once it's on nothing can be seen but lines.
I took pics on my phone how can I post them here??

might have to open it up to make sure no loose cable

anyone ever have this problem???

Open it up and reseat the connection for the display.

If I'm correct, I think the connection is on the main board that sits at the base of the unit.

You'll probably want to unlock the connector, slighty move the cable then make sure it's seated back in it's original position and lock it back down.

Hello im from germany and my display is not working too. When i turn on the mpc the screen shows only black contrast. i buyed a pcb assembly but its still not working. What can i do ?

In my case it was the connection to the main board. As dabmeister has already pointed out it'll need a look at the insides. The connection is on the main powering board (the one that powers the drives and also has the outputs mounted to it).
