Nord Modular, Quadraverb, JV-1080, MPC1000 (with pad upgrade, expanded, JJOS 1), Korg MS10, Roland SH101 (borrowed). Monitors out of shot along with my 1210 MK5Gs.

Currently not using a computer but I'm going to bring my MacBook running Logic 8 Express into the equation when I feel the need. Having SO much fun with this little setup although I'm a long way from writing music to a standard I'd want to inflict on anyone!

Which american audio cdj is that? i was thinking of geting one for sampling mad accapellas i have on disc from way back. (my tracks) and making scratch hooks. will it be suitable for that?

it's a CDI500 - for me the 'scratching' & bending is really good - you just have to touch the 'platter', not press. The Reverse opened up a new world too. Don't pay too much though - I think they have reliability problems with tracking (never been able to play the first 5 minutes of a disc without skipping crazy) but honestly I can't think of anything more I would want a CD player to do. I've done a few gigs with just it & a kaoss pad.

Otherwise - Denon DNS1200 - that's what I will get eventually. That way I can keep all my WAVs on a USB hard disk.

BTW, I noticed some of you katz got nice setups but no room treatment (including myself for the time being). Next time I'm able to stretch out with some serious space, I'm going for the it...treatment and all.

+1, thats def needed

Room treatment for a homestudio set up can be a costy thing, throwing a couple off bass traps in a corner isnt gonna cut if your accoustics are that bad.

heh, I know - even better - one of my monitors is stuck in the corner! Let's just say it's not a place to do mixing, just to write & rehearse.
