for those that don't know what he's doing. He's using Maschine to go thru and find drum sounds he likes, then sampling them into the MPC 60 II and sequencing on the MPC. I think he has a keyboard midi'ed up to his MPC too.

Good way of working. Grab them Maschine sounds, put them into the MPC to beef them up and give them that 60 swing.

he uses a bunch of different things to get sounds from, but samples them into the 60 to work with.

he's def nice on the 60.

i remember when i was dj'ing in the strip clubs and i would play that jermaine dupri (Fabolous-Baby Don't Go) track. the mix down on that track is so good. the drums bang so hard. i would always be like, i wonder what dupri used for the drums on this track. now i know, its the MPC 60 and it makes sense.
