Good day all,

I have asked this question before and didn't get a response. I am at a loss when it comes to Midi syncing my MPC1000 to my Yamaha PSR323 keyboard. I'll admit I didn't/don't incorporate the keyboard in my production. Strictly MPC1000 and turntables etc.....dj influence. I have my MPC1000 synced with Cubase as the master to track my beats. I use a Lexicon Lambda interface along with a HP Pav 3 gb ram 250 gb hd. Currently I connect the keyboard directly to the Lex Lambda interface and record directly to Cubase on a reg track, not intsrument or Midi.

How can I sync the MPC1000 to the Yamaha PSR323 and have the beat from the MPC trigger what I recorded on the PSR? I tried reading the manual over and over and just can't get it.

Someone Please help!!!!

MPC 1000 OUT A TO YAMAHA IN A (midi cable).SET MPC (PAD 9 MIDI SYNC) TO OUT A .SET YAMAHA TO EXT CONTROL.
SET THE TRACK IN MPC 1000 TO TRIGGER THE YAMAHA TO MIDI (not drum) select midi cHannnel 1-16.NOW SET THE YAMAHA RECEIVE CHANNEL TO THE SAME NUMBER AS THE MPC 1000 MIDI TRACK (1-16). TRIGGER WITH PAD (1-16)
HOPE THIS HELPS.PEACE
