For years i have been very minimalistic using a cheap mixer and mic to go along with my mpc. But my 60 $ behringer mixer i bought years ago is dying slowly so i figure its time to upgrade to something bigger and better. My setup needs to be fluid, i hate having to unplug and plug in different shit all the time its annoying as ****.

I have a laptop with a motu 828 mk1 used for tracking into a daw, and an mbox 2 with protools 8 for everything else. I also have a mpc 500, yamaha mm6 synth and an akai ax 73 synth. I want to finally be able to have all of this working in sync, instead of doing one thing at a time.

Any help??

I would get rid of both of those interfaces and get a digi 002 rack or mixer version to start with, preferably mixer version

I'll second the addition of a mixer as well. But I also think you'd benefit tenfold by having a dedicated midi interface too.
