One helpful option it gives you is to record a two track stereo file of your track without going thru any extra digital/analog conversion as you would if recording into an interface's analog inputs

Sounds the same running into my Echo MIA 24/96 PCI card at 16/44.
Sampling into the MPC from the MIA is handy as well for the most part. Either way, it all needs to be normalized. No problem on either PC or MPC.

make sure you buy a proper 75ohm cable for spdif and don't just use the one that came with your turntable

I was thinking last night they should maybe split the forums up slightly?

MPC 1000 [ I'm a n00b please help me forum ]
My headphones don't work. ----> Plug Them In ---> Wow your a genius thanks!
Whenever I hit a pad nothing happens or I lose the playing sound --> Check your polyphony --> Really, no its not that I checked! --> Are you sure --> Oh okay yeh it was?
