why are my chops fading out in main screen jjos2xl(1.40)

hi....
i'd load a sample, hit mode then trim, turn chop on then chop it into parts assigned over say pads 1-8... tests to see how it sounds and it sounds all good.....
when i hit F6 to convert it to new program then go back to the main screen and play the samples again, the very end of each sample fades out slightly...

the same thing happens when you hit F1 "ProgMode" in trim mode

please could somebody help me with this

In global program edit mode is the release set at 20?

Yup, the problem is the release in the global edit window is set to 20 by default.

Change this back to 0 and your sweet.

Don't like how it does that by default, just annoying for me anyway...

yeah found it... every single pad is set to a release of 20
also...
the level for each pad is set to 80 by default instead of 100
the master volume is set -20dB or something instead of 0dB
and time correction was automatically on as soon as i turned mpc mpc on after installing the jj-os2xl

Is there anything else you guys have noticed that's a pain in the a$$ as a default setting just incase i've missed it????


my way around this is to make changes to the levels and the release for each pad, save entire memory load it up everytime i make a new beat to save some time..

make an autoload program with all the settings set to how you like it and it will start up like that every time you power on the mpc.
check the manual on JJs site for how to make an autoload folder.
