hey.
1. i got a beat
2. now i wanna record it into my computer(pc using cubase sx) so that i can control the volumes of each hi hat or snare easily.

is there anyway 2 do this?
is there anyway i can c the sounds individually as if in using battery drums in cubase?
any help is greatly appreciated.............david

If you have a multiple input soundcard this is pretty easy to do in one take. If not you will have to do multiple takes. You will also have to assign each sound to a seperate output on your MPC.

if you have say ten tracks and you only have to outputs and inputs on you track. you'll have to solo each track and make sure your cubase is synced to the mpc. that way when you record track one (kick) with the solo it will only record that sound. then on track two (snare) press solo on the mpc and new track in cubase and now record just the snare and so on. it's called tracking and if you are synced between the mpc and cubase, the audio will also be in sync and you don't have to mess with getting all the tracks aligned.
