quick question? about instrument programs

Will my mpc 1000 instrument programs work with the 2500. Anybody have both machines, that could give me a quick answer...

I haven't had an opportunity to test this myself, OS 2xl instrument programs don't work with OS2?

no, they don't. it's a feature implemented only in the xl version.

I don't think it's possible to switch between os2 and 2xl, so I need someone to help me test this out, if anyone with os2 is willing, send me a pm with your email. I will send you one of the programs.

You could downgrade your system to os2 temporarily and try it yourself?

is that possible, I thought that when i upgraded to 2xl, os2 was over written. If I try this will it cause any problems when going back to 2xl?

I'm trying to do this on my own, but I can't seem to download the OS2 from the JJ website, anybody else having a problem with that website, I can download OS1 and before but not OS2 or later.
