Help My MPC wont do the 1.31 update

I had done the update on it about a year ago. I hadn't used my mpc for a few weeks and when I pulled it out I decided to change samples so I deleted a bunch of samples...some how the update had also disappear. i tried installing the patch again but it would not work. Any advice?

You should still have the update applied to your system if you actually installed it to firmware.
