Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

is there anyway i can connect my mpc to my comp and sample wav files and mp3's i have downloaded? im sure i would have to change the file type so it'll play in mpc, but im not sure how i would sample from my comp....by the way i have a pentium 4 2.4GB HD, 512RAM, Cubase sx 2.2...please someone help a brother out. peace

1) line out of your computer to RECORD IN on MPC, sample.

2) use computer wav editor (Soundforge, CoolEdit, etc.) to chop up a wav, save as 16 bit stereo wav file, burn to CD, load into MPC using SCSI CDRom drive.

Convert your MP3's tp wave.
Hook your outputs from your PC sound card to the record ins on your MPC.
You might need a 1/4 inch stereo jack to 2 1/2" jacks.
