Alright,

I looking for a more efficient way, if any to save the music i've made...
What Im doing now is, after I have created a beat I like I am saving entire memory to a folder I created in my memory card, and this process seems to kill a lot of memory...
Right now my memory card is full, and when I go to save my newest beats the screen reads memory card full, so the samples that I have on that beat are not being saved because there is no room, so I have to re-sample if I power off my MPC...

How do you change your name?

That doesn't work like that. You have to install a hard drive inside of your MPC 1000. The mount should already be inside of it. There is a thread that covers it in great detail.

yes, installing an internal hard drive would give you more storage.

or you could connect the mpc to your computer via usb and backup some files to the computer and delete them from the mpc's memory card.

but the easiest option is probably simply buy another memory card! a bigger one
