tune and pitch

i made a thread about tone and pitch but i really meant tune and pitch...whats the difference?

note that some definitions of tune refer to pitch ... that might help you figure out how they're related

Sometimes u say tune, sometimes u say pitch.

Like sometimes u say '**** that whore', and sometimes u say 'making love with my woman'.

It comes down to the same thing, although in some situations it's better to use one over the other.

one tune's the pitch of a sample. Tuning is changing the pitch of the sample. Pitch shift is tuning the pitch while keeping the same tempo. Time stretching is changing the tempo of the sample, while not tuning it and keeping the same pitch. I hope that helps. One

so how do you turn down the pitch to move down or up a note.
like say i turn the pitch up 1 whole point is that one note up?
