First of all is it possible to sync the 1000 to a computer program via midi? If so what type of midi box do I need to buy? I guess would like to be able to do is hit the pads and have the sound show up in sync with whatever program I am going to use. I am trying to expand my editing capabilities of the tracks I do in the 1000.

Thanks

yeah u can sync the devices by midi. Ur probally gonna need a midi device, like the midiman. do a search on ebay. they cheap. And u should use it for a multitrack program, like sonar or cubase, or a soft syth workstation/seq, like reason or ableton. Ur probally goin to want a better soundcard also. something with ASIO support. it will make it so when u hit a pad it will trigger the ish in the pc at real time. Latency is a **** though without ASIO

maudio got some decent ones. the quattro is under $100 on ebay and the delta 66 goes for about $180. I bought the 66 from samash for $350 so thats a deal.
