MPC500 Midi transmit issues. Help Please !

Ok good friends
I have a MPC500 and I connected to my MPC500 to Sonar via MIDIMAN 2ins 2 outs
I connected a Midi cable to the output of my MPC500
When I play the PADs , the Midi indicator don't show any sign of receiving any Midi signal
Basically my MPC is not outputing any signal through Midi out
Can someone tell me what to do please
Like I mentioned when I am playing the pads on my MPC500, its not sending any Midi notes
through the Midi out
Although I assigned Midi notes to each sample

Track -> Parameters -> Scroll to MIDI Channel and select 1-16.

It did really work
looks like it has a Midi channel transmit for every PAD?
I guess I have to set the transmit channel of each PAD to my desired Midi channel..?
Or there could be one transmit channel for all

You need to set it per track. Each pad will generate a signal a different midi note on the specified midi channel.
