why did you get jjos?

hello i have been using my mpc 1k for a bit(learned on jjos 3.02 or whatever), but i recently purchased reason as well (i have always been interested in synths, so i figured reason is a good place to start)

anyways i was thinking about upgrading to a higher jjos, i just havent needed a reason to yet (reason haha...yeah im lame) but before i spend $50 i want to know...

what you use jjos for? the reason you got it? best feature etc etc etc...
(pretend you are a jjos salesman and you are trying to get me to buy one maybe)

there are lots of answers in that thread saying why people use JJOS - much to the LivePsy's annoyance

why dont you download jjos1 and try it out.. it is fully functional other than the save feature..

Cuz I like to spend money.

Workflow enhancements (way too many to name)
non-destructive chop
INST programs
chord and arpeggiator
timing correct strength
grid edit
global program edit

etc.

I didn't even try jjos until last week thinking that was happy with the akai os

I was wrong, I tried out the the free one, then the 50 buck one trial then purchased


the loading screen saving, navigation is much better


the audio tracks 57 thru 60 something are great, can plug in an sm58 and rap or sing right aslong with a beat and come up with hooks or whatever or verses 128mb ram plenty of recording time there.


the auto chromatic sample layout that was on the 2000xl but left out on the 1000 akai os is another big plus


the grid editing



jjos is almost like putting a daw inside your mpc makes it less tedious which means you stay in creative mode

cuz pretty much every1 in this forum FORCED me to do it...... & with a gun too...
And thank thee lord, cuz it was a life changing experience.............

and when jjos2xl dropped with non-destructive chopping and quantize strength....oh man lol JJ is the only reason i stuck with my mpc truth be told.
