V-Drums and MPC2KXL

What up MPC heads,
My pops just bought some V-Drums. I havent messed with them yet but their sitting in the studio callin my name. So I don't know the best way to approach this. Should I sample the sounds onto the mpc, or should I hook the brain of the drums up via midi? I guess I should do both, just a question I though I would shoot yall and see what I get.

sample some old breaks. find the note assignments. and use midi to send the drum tirrger to the mpc. the drum brain will have alot better sounds as they are programmed for velocity and pressure and were you hit the drum pad..
