JJ OS2XL 1.06 to 1.40

Hi ...

I bought a mpc1000 with jj os2xl 1.06 on ebay and I will update them to jj os2xl 1.40 ... is this easy posible?
What must I do and where can I see my ID of my OS and so in the display? And a important question is .. how can I save my settings like Master Level to -6 db .. when I turn the mpc off and on again than is the level on -12 again ...

press 'mode' and then pad 'other', the master level can be set from one of the other sub screens, accessible with the f-keys.
To save any changes you have made to these settings, you must return to MAIN screen before powering off the device, so press MAIN this should save your changes.
