is my mpc no good???

i cant hear no sounds when im triggering the pads except when im in trim and load mode, when im in the main screen and attempt to try to play a pad or a sequence, nothing comes out. i tried creating programs and sequence with my samples and still no sound in the main screen

look if your program has set the pads to the individual outs 1-8 -> mode pad8 (mixer)
did you make a new program yourself or did you use the default program01?
maybe the previous owner has changed the settings?
does your mpc perform an autoload at startup? this way it may load a program with individual settings.
maybe there are pads set to mute -> button track mute

you can power up your mpc while pressing and holding the erase key - this will do a factory reset and all settings will be set to their default values.
