akai s900 sampler

Hey does anyone out there got an s900? Can u please explain to me how to either midi dump files onto this beast. Or how to load files onto a disk from a computer with xp to the s900? Ive checked out the s900blogspot but none of there techniques work for me. So if somebody could tell how to do it I would be a very happy camper. thank u so much!

1. connect the sampler's midi in and out to your computer's midi interface with 2 midi cables.

2. download this free utility:

3. transfer samples.

I'd rather go toe to toe with all of y'all

Any possibility, that this sh!t does also work with the s950 & Windows Vista?!

Given the similarities between the s900 and s950, it is quite possible.

No idea about vista though.

Worth a try right?

Hey thanks for the help with the link. I cant get this thing working though I got the program going, got my mono 16bit sample im sending then when i hit send the s900 freezes and says on its screen DIVIDE ERROR........................... I almost thought I had it for a second cant wait to figure out how to do this. thank u

is it possible that only 12bit samples work for that type of transfer? I didn't even know the 900 could do that to be honest.
