Can't erase q-link data

Using JJOSXL I've got this problem where I have recorded some q-link actions in a track but now i really need to delete these (pitch changes). I've tried erase/exceptnote, erase/realtime and erase/pitchbend etc but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas out there on this?

Is it a bug or something or am I missing something.

Next step is to save the seq as a .mid file filter it in a computer sequencer and re-import I guess

hold delete and scroll over the recorded data..

ok. so what ever option i'm in i need to hold the erase and scroll over the area. great. Thanks

that won't work. what you see in the ERASE screen will only work while in that screen. you don't set an 'option' in that screen that stays set once you leave it.

if you do what josephnicks said, which is to go into GRID EDIT (MODE + PAD 15) and hold down delete (f4) as you scroll across the data, you will wipe out ALL your recorded data, which is not what you want.

you say you want to delete some pitch changes you recorded. using qlinks there are 2 way to record pitch changes: REAL TIME & NOTE ON.

if you recorded REAL TIME, then hitting the erase button & selecting REAL TIME should wipe it out. the fact that you say that isn't working leads me to guess that you recorded NOTE ON pitch change data instead. the only way to delete that is to go into STEP EDIT and painstakingly erase it note by note. time consuming but possible. check the manuals for info on how to do that.


side note: OS 2 has a QREAL edit screen in GRID EDIT where you could see and edit your REAL TIME recorded data, but it got removed in OS 2XL.

hmmm. you're right. it was recorded in note on mode..
Maybey the work around of recording the notes separately would be quicker than step edit. I check when i get back to the MPC. There is about 80 bars worth!
