Imagine hearing Harrison's All Things Must Pass on vinyl

probably distorts like **** cuz of the wall of sound

yeah, I've got two copies of it on vinyl, it's great.

what sort of reply were you hoping for? you didn't ask any questions and there didn't seem to be much to say

I find that when vinyl has a lot going on in the song it's likely to distort, making me wonder how it would've sounded in that format. I guess it's not a problem tho

I see. Well it sounded OK to me. My copy's pretty old (1970 release on Apple) and nowhere near mint condition, so I think it sounds a bit dirty, but not distorted.

I'd listen to it again to check, but my mixer is in the shop for repairs and I can't remember what I did with my old mixer.

Out of curiosity, what TT and cartridge are you using? I don't have this problem when I listen to any records -- you may need a new stylus and cartridge.

Yeah, that doesn't right at all.

True, I'm runnin a numark TT500 with a Shure M44-G, I'll have to compare it with my Project Xpression III the next time I run into this. Thx
