8 outs question

whats going on mpc peoplez, i got a quick question, hopefully someone can help me out. im looking to get the 8 outs for my mpc2000xl, now the question is since the s2000 takes the same eb16 board as the mpc2000xl is the 8 outs the same??? someone has it for sale and if it fits im willing to buy it and save some cash.

ahh that is too bad, it looks like it fits though... just need a extension cable thing...

Hi. I have a MPC2000 with a S2000 8 outs board, and work very well.

The electronics is the same. The mounting frame is different. I would not attempt to put it in the wrong machine since it would not be properly supported and you risk fracturing the circuit board.
