stryke, kybeats, i get the impression that binger0 is a talented individual and i would like to collab. on a few tracks and trade notes. nothing more than that. binger0, is welcome to come to d & d studios (in nyc) on saturday mornings (i go twice a month) if he likes to also. i will pay the studio fees. i think he works very hard at making music and would like to introduce him to doug grammer or doug lokwin from d & d. that is all. i guest in the music business it is called a break.

so stryke, kybeats continue making your beats in your bedroom, ok and keep your mind out of the gutter. thank you.

Man VS Machine: While I see your point, I don't wholeheartedly agree. In my case, since I don't sample other than drums, what is my role? I write and record the instrumental part of the song, so it's not classic production in the rock sense.

Mwalker take it easy b,i was only kiddin.And as far as me makin' beats in my bedroom....Who gives a phuk where you create as long as you makin' good music.And that's what i do.I just recently got my mpc so my beats suck but lyrically i'm a monsta.So do you and quit stressin'...

BTW, didn't D & D studios close down and sell all their equipment(well most of it...I know I picked up a few things) :wink:

DJ Premier bought it and changed the name to Headquarters Studio's, right? 8)

Yo digital B in your case you are the MAN 8) . Too me you are classified as the song writer and producer which means if you were sgined to a label and they gave you the freedom to produce your owen songs / you get more money up front and full or more of pub rights depending on weather your the vocalest or just writter. The Key is that you would be seen as both. The song writer is in its own class as well as the producer and vocalest so that means diffrent checks, points, and credits. You have more to bring to the negotiation table and the potental to collect in three diffrent ways.
